Brad Mehldau, one of most intense and innovative voices of jazz piano, presents the New York premiere of new music featuring percussionist Mark Guiliana (called “possibly the best drummer in the world” by Time Out London.) Mehldau’s impressive career includes other inspired collaborations with artists like Pat Metheny, Wayne Shorter, Willie Nelson, and Renee Fleming. In his mesmerizing performances, Mehldau seamlessly blends improvisatory jazz tradition, classical composition forms, and a true affinity for contemporary popular music.
