David Berkman Quartet
featuring Tom Harrell with special guest Victor Lewis
David Berkman, a respected teacher, award-winning composer, and critically acclaimed pianist, has a talent for assembling imaginative and surprising groups. His current quartet is definitely not an exception as it features the trumpet / flugelhorn master Tom Harrell with the equally distinguished drummer Victor Lewis. Together, this quartet is perfectly suited to Berkman’s music that The New York Times calls “on the extremely smart end of the post-1960s mainstream.”
