Harold Mabern and Eric Alexander, whose prolific collaboration is documented on many albums destined to become classics, are the centerpiece of our year-ending Coltrane Festival. JazzTimes says, “the rapport between Mabern and Alexander seems nearly telepathic.”

Vincent Herring, an alto saxophonist who embodies the spirit of giants like Charlie Parker, Sonny Stitt, and Cannonball Adderley, has long been regarded as one of the foremost artists in jazz. The New York City Jazz Record says, “Herring has firmly established himself as one of his generation’s masters.” Steve Davis is a modern trombone master whose playing navigates the challenges inherent in the language of bebop with seeming ease. JazzTimes says, “(Davis) has established himself as one of the most accomplished and lyrical improvisers on his instrument as well as a prolific composer…”
